Harry’s Choice was launched in May 2009 to offer parents in South Norfolk a real alternative to mass-produced, processed baby food.
I had always made an effort to give Harry home cooked meals using organic ingredients as I personally felt it was my responsibility to give him the best nutritional start in life I possibly could.
The idea to start Harry’s Choice followed a holiday in the Lake District when we were about to start on his second stage of weaning. As back up for when we were out and about, I stocked up on shop bought prepared baby meals…Harry wouldn’t touch them! (and I must admit that I couldn’t blame him).
A nutritious alternative
Rather than simply get frustrated by the complete lack of decent alternatives to home cooking, I took action. I completed a qualification in Food Hygiene and had my dishes tested and approved by South Norfolk District Council.
And here is the result…a selection of delicious, nutritient-packed meals approved by Harry and hand cooked using only the finest organic ingredients especially for your child.
Now all you have to do is enjoy the extra time with your baby you’ve saved from not having to be in the kitchen!
